Spare has been selling and promoting Fuji Film Prescale film since its early introduction on the market,
as well as also the other tools made available by Fuji Film, such as Thermoscale and UVScale.
Therefore, Spare believes it can offer itself as a competent, expert and skilled partner for all your
needs related to the study and analysis of surface phenomena, such as pressure, temperature, and UV radiation.
We do not exclude that you may have already visited our other websites, where all our portfolio products are showcased
otherwise, we invite you to refer to the navigation area on the left.
These websites are virtually accessible from anywhere and provide technical data, drawings, and manuals, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We take aspects such as completeness and explanatory detail presented through our web pages very seriously, as we are aiming to offer the
maximum amount of information possible about each product and service we offer.
Certainly, we could not overlook the need to implement an additional site specifically for the Fuji Prescale Film,
which we have been promoting since 1998, along with the other investigation and study aids (Thermoscale e UVscale),
produced by Fuji Film, for which we are authorized distributors nationwide since several years ago.
Pressure-sensitive Prescale Film operates conceptually similarly to carbon paper (though it is more sophisticated
and provides more repeatable results), developing areas of color on its surface that range from pale pink to deep magenta's red,
in proportion to the applied surface pressure.
This provides a direct correlation between the density of the red color and the magnitude of the pressure applied,
as well as a detailed "topographic" map of the actual distribution of surface contact pressures,
allowing for an in-depth study and understanding of the pressure distribution recorded by the film.
The results of these checks are very intuitive and can be directly appreciated by comparing them to a reference
color scale included with the Prescale Film instruction sheet.
If more detailed and repeatable analysis results are required, the analysis and inspection system provided by Fuji Film
may be used: the Pressure Distribution Mapping System FPD-8010E, allows also to create a historical record of measurements
by storing electronic scans of the imprinted films.
This gives the opportunity to track any production trends and to conduct quality controls by comparing results with the stored historical references.
Additionally, Fuji Film now offers another inspection tool for Prescale Film called Prescale Mobile, which we invite you to
review in the relevant section.
For more accurate and repeatable analyzes to be performed instead with the Fuji Film UVscale photosensitive film, we wish to point out the availability of the FUD-7010E system.
On this site, you will find a wealth of useful information related to the Prescale Film, Thermoscale, and UVscale,
as well as other complementary products.
Take your time to explore all the available sections, where you will find data sheets, application notes,
and press releases at your complete disposal!
Visit us periodically and feel free to provide any of your advice, suggestions, and, if you wish, even criticisms.
We extend our sincerest apologies in advance where you should experience any malfunctions or inaccuracies, despite our
best efforts spent in creating and maintaining this website.
Discover for yourself why an increasing number of customers have chosen to take advantage of the capabilities offered by the Prescale Film...
